What is Easysoft Data Access for Zortec System Z and how does it work?

Easysoft Data Access (EDA) for Zortec System Z provides ODBC access to C/DISAM files used by Zortec applications on Windows and UNIX platforms. The solution includes three Easysoft products. The Easysoft ODBC-ODBC Bridge provides the connection between the client machine and the server. The Easysoft ODBC-SQI SQL Engine parses and refines queries, utilising the native ISAM indexes to speed up file access. The Easysoft SQI-Zortec System Z Driver handles file access to the ISAM files, reading file definitions from the Easysoft schema file set.
