What is the ISAM ODBC driver and how does it work?

Easysoft Data Access (EDA) for ISAM provides ODBC access to legacy ISAM files on Windows, Linux, and UNIX platforms. EDA for ISAM has three components:

1. The ODBC-ODBC Bridge, which provides the connection between client machine and server where the ISAM files are located.
2. The ODBC-SQI SQL Engine, which parses and refines queries, using the native ISAM indexes to speed up file access.
3. The SQI-ISAM Driver, which accesses the ISAM files, reading the file definitions from the Easysoft schema file set.
