I've forgotten the ADMIN password. What should I do?

To change the ADMIN password:

  1. Create a blank catalog using the server administrator.

    Create the catalog in different directory to the one where your regular Easysoft catalog is located.

  2. Enter a new ADMIN user password when prompted.
  3. In your regular Easysoft catalog, rename the following files esuser.dat & idx and esdbprv.dat & idx.
  4. Move the same files into your regular Easysoft catalog.

This updates the ADMIN user password. There are no other users now. Use the Easysoft PC Administrator to re-add any users you've added previously.
