How do I upgrade my Easysoft license on Windows?

Read these instructions fully before attempting to upgrade an Easysoft license.

If you need to use the new version of your Easysoft software before we can process your request, obtain a trial license. Trial licenses last for 14 days and you can obtain them at any time on the Easysoft web site.

To upgrade to a new version of an Easysoft product, a new license is required. To generate a new Easysoft license for you, we need the Easysoft license removal code (obtained by removing the old license) and the machine number (generated after installing the new product version).

Obtaining the removal code

  1. Start Easysoft License Manager.
  2. Choose Remove License.
  3. Select the license to be removed and choose Next.
  4. If you're sure you selected the correct license in the previous step, choose Yes, Delete when prompted.
  5. A license removal code displays. Use CTRL+C to copy the removal code and paste it into an email before you choose Delete.

Install the new version of your Easysoft software. For installation instructions, refer to the Easysoft documentation for your product. When you have installed the new version:

  1. Start Easysoft License Manager.
  2. Choose Request License.
  3. Select Time Limited Trial and choose Next.

You will not receive a trial license; this is a quick way to generate a new machine number.

  4. Select the correct Easysoft product from the list and choose Next.
  5. Select View Request.

The machine number is displayed in the Easysoft Data Access License Request window. The machine number format is:

    xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
