What does "Communication link failure" mean when using the ODBC-ODBC Bridge?
Generally speaking, this means the Easysoft ODBC-ODBC Bridge client has lost contact with the ODBC-ODBC Bridge server. This usually only happens if the ODBC-ODBC Bridge server process handling the client connection terminates unexpectedly. For example, if the server machine shuts down or the ODBC-ODBC Bridge server times out the client. It can also happen if there's a segmentation fault or bus error in the ODBC-ODBC Bridge server, unixODBC Driver Manager, or target ODBC driver. Report communication link failures to the Easysoft Support team ( ). Include the versions of all software being used, the platforms involved, and the name of the target ODBC driver.
