No. Any usernames and passwords supplied in the connection string or stored in the registry/odbc.ini are encrypted before sending them across the network connection between the client and server.

In addition, usernames and passwords for OOB data sources in Windows which are stored in the registry are encrypted.

All information in a connect string is encrypted before passing this across a network connection.
