On Windows, we have seen (and had reported to us) the installation hanging in two places. The course of action depends on where the hang occurs.
Be patient and wait (up to 5 minutes) and the installation will continue as normal. This appears to occur on InstallShield installations from other vendors too, and so we do not think this is a problem specific to the Easysoft ODBC-ODBC Bridge installation.
Make sure you have closed all applications before installing.
You are probably running a version of the ODBC-ODBC Bridge including and prior to version 1.0.0.3. These versions contained a bug in the InstallShield supplied service template that can cause it to loop forever waiting for the previously installed ODBC-ODBC Bridge Server Service to close down. The solution in this case is to either:
